So I left T with Daddy.....

So I'm not real sure how to explain this one. I left T with Daddy while he was doing the dishes, and came back a bit later to find this! I asked him how she got under there and he said something about her wiggling her way under. She seemed fairly content under there and eventually wiggled her way out.

Look What we Ordered from Rods!

Merry Christmas everyone! I love Christmas time, and it's been really fun with Baby T so far this year. Nana bought her an advent calendar and she loves to see what's behind each little door. She also loves to get a hold of the ribbons and drag it around and make a big tangled mess of it. She actually isn't that interested in the tree, but with the gate around it, she can't get
into too much trouble, so it's probably no fun anyway.

Not always Smiling

This post is for all of you who tell me that baby T is ALWAYS smiling. Here's the proof that isn't always true!!! My favorite one is the one where she is trying to hit me with the spoon.

Winter Weather

Here's the Dodge window when the snow started again Saturday morning. A couple of hours later and the whole window was covered.

Chinese Bundle

Well, here's almost the whole clan of my Dad's cats; Fortune Cookie, ChopStick, Kung Pow, and Chop Suey. the only one missing is Mama Kitty and her name is Midnight, so she doesn't fit in anyway. Dad said he was going to get a bigger bed for them! Looks like a good way to keep warm!

My Snow Pony

Here's my TreyTrey in the snow. I'm wasn't sure how he would feel about having a run in stall where he could come and go as he pleases this winter. But from the looks of it, he doesn't mind being outside one bit! I'm pretty sure I'm going to geld him in the spring and then he and Boomie can play together.

Fence Handle Icicles

Well with even more snow on the weekend, I found some cool icicles on the handles of the horses pens. That's Boomer in the background.

My New Ride

Well these aren't the best pictures, but I got a '94 4Runner over the weekend. We've had our eye on it for a while the body and interior are in great condition but it has a NASTY rod knock. That's where being married to a mechanic is a wonderful thing. And my husband can fix ANYTHING so it will be up and running in no time! Also for those of you who haven't seen our place, (like certain persons in Michigan- hello Aunt Trish!) here is the front of our shop and you can see a bit of one window in the house. I'll get better pics of the whole thing someday soon.

First Snow!!

We had an unexpected surprise last night! We got about an inch of snow, and luckily there was still some left for T to enjoy this morning. She is sitting on the hood of my camaro, (the one without T-Tops, don't worry those are inside out of the precipitation!)

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving day, and we are so Thankful for our families that we got to spend time with over the holiday.
Here's T with her Auntie Stephanie (Snef) and Uncle Brandon at Nana's house. Auntie Snef took some amazing pictures of Baby T and our family, please check out her blog at www. stephaniestremlerphotography.blogspot.com to view. Thanks Steph!!
Baby T playing with Nana's "dog".

At Papa's house, T was checking out the rocking chair.

I love this picture, Daddy and Baby T were lounging watching TV while Mommy made Thanksgiving dinner at Papa's.

Chilly Days

The days have definately been getting colder, here's T bundled up for our walk and the frosty leaves we saw along the way.

Kyra

Kyra is my friend Jodi's daughter and she is asolutely adorable, (and a bit mischevious!) She is seen below dipping her peacock feather in the horses water trough and tickling Abby in the nose with her wet feather!

Please note: This incredibly quiet mare is for sale, she is coming three next April, ties, loads, great with feet, quiet around kids, has been saddled, bridled, lunged, completely sacked out, you name it. Offered at $800. She is not registered, and those of you who knew my mare Mystic, she is her filly. Extremely athletic mare.

Playing with Kyra

Baby T got to have her first My Little Pony Party yesterday. Her friend Kyra really wanted to play with her, but being two and a half, had a hard time sharing as you can see her hiding the stuffed animals behind her back in th second photo. It was so cute!

Kitten Anyone?

My Dad's cat had kittens and they are at the absolutely adorable stage. They are a color called black smoke and will look like Fortune Cookie(below) when they are grown. They are all males, and two are spoken for, but three are still available if you are interested, let me know! They are eating real food and ready for their new home.

Here is Fortune Cookie, he is from the last litter, he and his buddy Chop Stick ( a short haired version of the same color) go everywhere together, even to the vet last week to get fixed. We will get the Mom fixed as soon as her babies find homes!

For Sale

This is my '83 z28 Camaro that I am selling to buy an SUV. I guess its time to act like a mom now and buy a vehicle that I can actually get the carseat, stoller, multiple diaper bags, and kid in and out of without ending up at the chiropractor every other day. Although I haven't driven this car much, its been in the garage as its even worse than my truck for baby hauling. So if you know of anyone looking, pass the word. Its got about 135K on it, new brakes, water pump, and something else (ask Paul) its super clean inside, runs and drives well. We're asking $1500 OBO.

Our Road

I really like the fact that we live on a dead end road, and a dirt road at that. Although I don't enjoy our dirty cars. But I love our quiet road and being surrounded by trees. Here's our road and a big dead tree that I think is kinda cool.

She's crawling!!

Well we have been waiting, she's been on the verge for about 2 months, but as of last night, she figured out she can motor all around on her own. Life as we know it is over!

Riding Lessons in the Bay

At one of our lessons a couple of weeks ago we went to the beach for probably one of the last times before it gets to slick to get down there. Here Skyy and Sox get to be seahorses.

Halloween!!

So her's our Halloween picture a little late! Baby T was a zebra, and her little sleepy friend Matilda was a bunny at the 4-H Halloween Party and Awards Night.

Baby T riding "her" horse

Here is Baby T riding one of "her" favorite horses. Actually this horse, Phantasy, belongs to Brittany, but Mommy loves to tease Brittany that Phantasy is Baby T's horse.

I'd say she's a natural, she grabbed for the reins as soon as she got on!
Baby T is showing Brittany that she got the rein.

Marblemount truck

One of our favorite pastimes is driving around looking for old trucks and cars or houses to take pictures of. Usually these places are a bit creepy. This place along the river was very cool, and this truck is one of our favorites!

Our Baby Girl

Here Daddy decided to give Baby T a ride in her toy basket.
Taking a time out from playing hard!

Baby T and I met Nana in Birch Bay for a wonderful picnic and relaxing day at the beautiful house Nana was housesitting. It was a beautiful day.

Last night, just before bed, baby T and I got the giggles and spent a few minutes laughing hysterically at each other. She is just too cute!

The 4Runner

Here is the Runner on the Whipsaw trail in early August 07. The trail was pretty lame according to the boys, but they did find this big puddle that didn't appear to be this deep. The 4Runner was drowned, barely made it home and now has been in pieces in the shop for the last two months awaiting a new motor, a Toyota Supra Turbo 7M something or other, you'll have to ask Paul for details! but we finally got one that came from Japan, and its almost done, just fitting the radiator!
Her is the 4Runner at Walker Valley, I think it was January of 06. The driver window was broken and that door smashed in, then when we got winched up the hill, there was some pretty serious body damage done to the right front fender and door, it was amazing it closed at all. After this trip, the 4Runner got new front fenders and doors. It was a great day for carnage!!

If you look VERY closely, you can see my hand sticking out the passenger window at the top!

The Corona (car-not beer)

This is my husbands little car. It is a rare 1966 Corona. Since I am not a fan of midget cars, it is not my favorite. But he has put a lot of work into it and I must say my respect for this car grew once he took me for a ride in it. It is crazy fast! Its got some turbo-blah-blah-I don't know what kind of motor, but its fast! (Sorry honey, I'm just a girl!)

Helping Daddy

Here's Baby T getting ready to do some wrenchin' with Daddy.

Wheelin' at Walker Valley

Here are some pictures taken this year at Walker Valley. The 4Runner managed to walk away with minimal damage, however Chris James's truck didn't fair so well. Funny thing is, Chris James flipped his truck in the exact same spot that Paul flipped his the year before.
